Cupcake Needle Case

I made some cupcake needle cases using cupcake fabric and felt lining. Topstitched and two felt pages sewn in the centre.  Two ribbons keep the case secure.

Country Kitchen Fabric Cookbook Bookmarks

I love these! I had some country kitchen fabric in my scraps bag and thought that there must be a way to use them somehow.  So I ironed on some interfacing to make the fabric stiffer. Once cooled I cut round the square shapes using my pinking shears.  Sewed the panels to some green felt and stitched in a folded piece of red gingham ribbon. I then neatened the edges of the felt and attached a small gingham bow. Perfect for your recipe books!!!

Hot Water Bottle Cover, Pillowcase Back.

I made this hot water bottle cover with a pillowcase opening. I wadded the cover slightly to make it plumper looking and lined the inside with plain black cotton.  I finished the edges to the opening with pink bias binding.

Ellie The Elephant Mini Cushion

I found some cute elephant fabric and decided to make a couple more elephant cushions. The ears are sating pink one side and felt the other. I have used child safe eyes.

Catnip "Glamour Puss" Cat Pillows

Sorry...I know making catnip pillows is a bit un-original, but I though this fabric was cute...and I am going to test if they sell on the internet....I promise to make something more original again soon!
